Born and raised in Vancouver, Stephanie Ostler, a sustainable clothing designer and entrepreneur, weaves together over two decades of hands-on experience into the vibrant tapestry of the city. Equipped with a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Design from Emily Carr University, Stephanie seamlessly blends entrepreneurial expertise with academic pursuits, nurturing a boundless textile practice that captures the essence of her Pacific Northwest roots. As a dedicated instructor since 2018 at SFU, Emily Carr University, and LaSalle College, Stephanie delves into emotionally durable design and eco-spirituality, fostering the next wave of artistic talent. Beyond the loom, Stephanie contributes to various boards, infusing her work with a commitment to community and a keen interest in exploring our emotional connections to clothing.
